For this assignment, you need to find a variety of sources:

• Primary sources: Articles or advertisements from three historical newspapers on the topic
• Articles were published during the time period.
• At least five secondary sources
• Information on the value of the newspaper as a primary source.
• Information about your specific topic.
• These may include books or book chapters, scholarly articles, or reputable websites.
• These may not include general reference sources such as Wikipedia, textbooks, or encyclopedia.
• Use the tabs along the top of this guide to locate different types of sources.

These collections include other primary sources and may include newspapers. They may be used to find supplemental material for this assignment.
