What is a Coursepack?

A coursepack is a compilation of course materials put into one, easy-to-access- place for students.  Coursepacks can replace or supplement textbooks.

Handpicked Content

  • Academic textbooks
    • May not be the best option as a learning resource
    • May have a low ratio of relevant content to course syllabus
  • Coursepacks
    • Provide opportunity to pull information from a variety of sources to create a single resource
    • Content is 100% relevant to the course

The Process

  1.  Gather the resources you would like to use in either physical or digital format, keeping in mind Fair Dealing limitations and copyright considerations.
  2. Fill out a Photocopy Log form and submit it and your physical or digital resources to the Copyright Specialist for approval.
  3. Fill out a Request For Printing form from the Bookstore, and talk to the Bookstore manager about pricing, etc.
