What is a Coursepack?
A coursepack is a compilation of course materials put into one, easy-to-access- place for students. Coursepacks can replace or supplement textbooks.
Handpicked Content
- Academic textbooks
- May not be the best option as a learning resource
- May have a low ratio of relevant content to course syllabus
- Coursepacks
- Provide opportunity to pull information from a variety of sources to create a single resource
- Content is 100% relevant to the course
The Process
- Gather the resources you would like to use in either physical or digital format, keeping in mind Fair Dealing limitations and copyright considerations.
- Fill out a Photocopy Log form and submit it and your physical or digital resources to the Copyright Specialist for approval.
- Fill out a Request For Printing form from the Bookstore, and talk to the Bookstore manager about pricing, etc.
