Why are open simulations useful in education?
They provide interactive content for teaching and learning, including games, virtual labs, tutorials, and datasets.
The PhET Interactive Simulations project provides free, interactive math and science simulations. PhET sims engage students through an intuitive, game-like environment where students learn through exploration and discovery.
The ChemCollective is a collection of virtual labs, scenario-based learning activities, tutorials, and concept tests. Teachers can use the content for pre-labs, alternatives to textbook work, and for in-class activities for individuals or teams.
