- OERs can range from subject include textbooks, classroom modules, lesson plans, video content, and other media that are freely accessible.
- While they are open, they are not "free" of restrictions. OERs are covered by open copyright-licenses that specify how they can be used, reused, adapted, shared and modified according to specific needs.
